# Tokenomics

To support TCV’s long-term growth, we’ve outlined a comprehensive plan to list $TCV, our native token. Initially, $TCV will serve two primary purposes: governance and fee payments within the protocol.

The total supply of $TCV will be capped at 168 million tokens, with an initial market capitalization of $200,000. Token allocation will span across seven key categories: Private Sales, Public Sales, Seed Sales, Team, Community Pool, Development, and Ecosystem. 

Notably, as Trava Capital is the former brand of TCV Platform, the $TOD treasury will be included in the tokens allocated for the Private Sale round of $TCV, ensuring that the rights of $TOD holders are fully safeguarded.
